    excellent location
    dated amenities

The location is excellent for exploring the

Great Basin National Park, just an 8-minute drive away. The motel atmosphere felt homey with local decor, though a few amenities could use some upgrades. It was delightful when housekeeping arranged our plush toys into cute displays during our stay.

    The truth you’re looking for

Nestled right by the Utah border, this hotel is a perfect pit stop along HWY 50. The staff's warmth is refreshing and the rooms are impeccably clean. With proximity to Great Basin National Park, it serves as a gateway for outdoor adventures. Just remember, the breakfast is decent but the coffee leaves much to be desired!

    convenient location
    leaky faucet
    unhelpful staff

Convenient location for exploring nearby attractions.

The bath water would not get hot, and the tub faucet leaked all over the floor. Upon arrival, the rug and towel by the tub were completely wet. Additionally, the morning staff were unhelpful when I encountered issues with purchasing gas.

    outdated facilities
    musty odor

location near Great Basin National Park, restaurant & bar on site, clean facilities

The entire room felt outdated!!! No TV or glasses in the room, and the musty smell was overwhelming. A little effort in updating would go a long way!!!

The charming old-fashioned decor at the Border Inn made me feel right at home, almost like a visit to my grandparents' rustic cabin. The accessibility was convenient, ensuring we didn’t have to navigate any tricky stairs!

A few more dining options would be nice.

    comfy bed
    private bathroom
    fast wi-fi
    quirky decor
    no dining options

The room was comfy with a private bathroom, and we had a microwave and mini fridge. Bed had decent pillows, which was nice. Decor was a bit quirky but fit the area. Wi-Fi was fast, and parking was super convenient right in front of our room. Staff was friendly too! Overall, a solid stay without any major issues.

    spacious room

    bad coffee

great amenities but breakfast needs improvement

The Deluxe Double Room exceeded my expectations with its spacious layout and comfortable bed. The view of the mountains added a fantastic touch to the experience. Enjoyed the breakfast which was a good value, offering a decent variety of options.

The coffee served at breakfast was lukewarm and tasted off.
